Avid Technology

We were appointed as M&E Consulting Engineers for the recent Avid Technology Dublin fit-out project. Delap & Waller were responsible for the M&E design on the re-purposed industrial unit at Citywest Business Campus and have used innovative design solutions to ensure the space meets the Clients specialist requirements as an office, electronics and component repair workshop, and testing and commissioning area.

The programme was extremely ambitious with design carried out within a four week period including detailed design which concluded within a two week period. Following tender returns a detailed value engineering process was carried out. The project fit-out was completed in a twelve week period with an additional two weeks for soft handover. The project comprised but was not limited to;

• HVAC Upgrade
• Lighting and Emergency Lighting Upgrade including task lighting for specialist areas
• Life Safety Services Upgrade (including Fire Detection and Alarm Services)
• New Standby Generator for Mission Critical Services
• New ICT Comms Room complete with leak detection and air conditioning
• LV Switchgear Replacement, Upgrade and Modifications
• General Services (Electrical / LV) Upgrade
