Imperial War Museum

Reds10 offered an alternative approach to this project through utilising off-site modular construction. Known as Parkside, the hub will provide principal work-space for IWM’s staff, acting as a central hub for their employees close to the main museum. Internally, ground floor space provides shared and flexible welfare facilities, with the upper two floors providing a combination of open workspace and formal/informal meeting spaces.

The building is set to achieve BREEAM Excellent rating due to the triple-aspect workspace utilising natural ventilation and daylighting strategies, reducing energy demand on active systems. The project also won Commercial Project of the Year at the 2021 Offsite Awards.
