Marks & Spencer Crewe

Delap & Waller was appointed to provide M&E Engineering Consultancy to deliver a newly extended store at Crewe’s Grand Junction Retail Park. M&S moved from their old town centre store to create this flagship store with all the features of a modern retail experience.

This 21,000 sq ft store now features M&S Clothing, Homeware and a 110 seater cafe alongside its pre-existing food hall.

Our involvement was from the shell development through to fit-out and completion thus providing continuity in design of the store as services requirements were designed from an early stage.

Key aspects of the design involved innovative lighting for all the different departments and HVAC to ensure the environmental conditions met the clients expectations.
