Nett Zero Schools – Arborfield Primary

Arborfield Primary, Wokingham: 420 place Primary School constructed as part of the Aborfield Garrison Major Development. The development includes a nursery and community facilities such as an all-weather sports pitch for community use outside of school hours. Sustainable designs included: high efficiency heat pumps, local hybrid natural ventilation mixing boxes, wind turrets and photovoltaic arrays on the building roof. The school building was designed to achieve Net Zero Carbon for regulated energy, exceeding local sustainable building requirements.
