Primark Merry Hill (2nd Project)

In September 2021, Primark expanded its floor area in the Brierley Hill Shopping Centre, to almost 84,000 sq ft, by creating a new ‘Primark Home’ section, offering a range of home and lifestyle items.
Delap & Waller were appointed by Primark as Engineering Consultants to oversee the M&E services design as carried out by the Design & Build contractor.
Design Stage Duties included Provision of Concept Designs & Performance Specifications and Liaison with Primark’s Energy/Utilities division to ensure the incoming power and telecoms were delivered to the design requirements and the programmed dates.
Construction Stage Duties included checking quality, compliance and progress of installations, regular reporting of findings to Primark and verifying the commissioning of all service systems.
