Primark Rushmere

This new Primark Store, which opened in December 2022, has been a welcome addition to the large Rushmere Shopping Centre in Craigavon. Covering 30,800 sq ft, the store showcases menswear, womenswear, kidswear, beauty, lifestyle, and homewares all on one floor. Delap & Waller were appointed by Primark as Engineering Consultants to oversee the M&E services design as carried out by the Design & Build contractor. D&W designed a low carbon solution, utilising an all electric HVAC solution and Air Handling Units complete with integral heat pumps.

Design Stage Duties included Provision of Concept Designs & Performance Specifications and Liaison with Primark’s Energy/Utilities division to ensure the incoming power and telecoms were delivered to the design requirements and the programmed dates.
Construction Stage Duties included checking quality, compliance and progress of installations, regular reporting of findings to Primark and verifying the commissioning of all service systems.
