Raidió Fáilte

Delap & Waller were appointed to this lucrative project as M&E Engineers working with the design team to deliver this unique building in the heart of Belfast for Raidió Fáilte, which serves the Gaelic speaking community across the whole province.

Accommodation includes a café, meeting / lecture / theatre area and archive / exhibition centre on the ground floor, offices on first floor level, with studio and training spaces on the second and recording studio and staff room on the third.

Mechanical & Electrical Services includes specialist sound and broadcasting systems, stage lighting, LED lighting, ICT wiring, air conditioning, ventilation and underfloor (low temperature hot water) heating system.

All systems were designed to operate at a very low noise suitable for recording and broadcasting studios.

In May 2019 the project won a regional design award at the RSUA / RIBA Awards.
