Titanic Gateway Offices
The Gateway Office Buildings at Titanic Quarter comprise three linked buildings over a podium with two at six storeys and one at five. All accommodation is focused around a landscape of courtyard with glazed feature link atrium at the main junctions. The accommodation comprises over 14,000 m2 with a semi-basement structure providing approximately 113 car parking spaces. The client brief was to provide quality flexible office accommodation as a Gateway project.
Over 120,000 sq ft of office space is fully let to US bank ‘Citi’. The building design solutions include best practice features to take account of low carbon design Initiatives and sustainability to achieve energy efficiency. Ground source heat pumps for the atria and rainwater harvesting are just two of the many sustainability initiatives introduced as part of the building design. The basement is naturally ventilated.
Delap & Waller provided full shell & core and category ‘A’ design services for the ’Citi’ fit out including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, lighting and electrical services. Sustainability measures include ground source heating, natural lighting and ventilation and rain water harvesting.
The building has a ‘Gold’ LEED rating equivalent to BREEAM Certification.
